Bronx, NY – On any given Saturday, one is greeted by the sounds of youth practicing their dance moves, learning a new step, enthusiastically belting out cheers, and soon… singing and acting.

Welcome to Fusion of Youth, a Bronx based youth performing arts and leadership program that gives boys and girls (ages 6-17) the opportunity to express themselves artistically and gain life skills at the same time.

“Many youth arts programs focus solely on the arts and we wanted it to be more meaningful,” says Fusion Co-Founder and Cheer/Dance/Step Coach, April Hennington.  Kirshan Murphy, Co-Founder and Choral Director, agrees, “Not only do youth involved with Fusion have fun singing, dancing, acting, and more, they also participate in workshops that cover such subjects as teamwork, building self-esteem, and honing leadership skills.”
